This photo is an icon in the musical kind "grunge"
"Nevermind",
the second album of the band "Nirvana" is a musical icon, even at
present, even having happened more than 20 years of his launch, emphasizing not
only his music but also the image of this sleeve.
In his
beginnings, the band wanted to put as image a subaquatic childbirth. They didn´t
do it because the discography refused because it was finding it very grotesque.
Because of it, the father of Spencer Elden (the child who goes out in the
image), who was employed at the special effects at Hollywood at 1991, extracted
the photo in a local swimming pool with the help of a professional
photographer. Even this way the young person tells that none got economic compensation
for the image.
Personally,
I like much the band Nirvana and all his songs, which I listen to this since I´m
kids. Always there was called me the attention the sleeve of the disc and I
think that it is the most guessed right.
Nirvana's Nevermind is an Icon of the Grunge Rock, and a masterpiece to the actuallity music!
