"Faculty of Odontology"

As a student of the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Chile I can say for sure certain features of my Faculty that I admire or it should change.

This Faculty is the oldest institution of learning and study dentistry that there in Chile, holding an important historical origin related to political conflicts of the time.

While having a great educational experience which can be seen in the thousands of professionals that the institution has trained over time, it is still missing innovate in their learning process and molded to the demands that the students need. It raised since two years ago began operating a new curriculum which was devised by various professionals and some students of the faculty to promote certain loose ends on learning that he was to deliver to students.

I think it is essential that the School of Dentistry is more associated with the Faculty of Medicine, and generally all health-related career so to enhance the education of students in every possible guidelines to all professional Health to treat patients holistically.

Finally, I believe that the School of Dentistry has all the qualities to be one of the best dental schools in Latin American and internationally. Still has a long way to go as many obstacles to overcome before achieving this feat.
